Transition to sixth form

My dd is finding it hard to get back into the sixth form. She is doing 3 a levels core maths but they said she can drop core maths if she really needs too.

She seems overloaded and over whelmed already.

Has anyone else had similar and it's settled. She did well in her GCSEs but seems stressed and panicking.

School are great but think lots of pressure being piled on.

I've spoken to her head of year now and they are going to chat about the work load and how to deal with it.

Bump. Anyone else having or had transition issues.

DS found it a bit of a leap at first. (This was a few years ago)The school kept going on and on about how difficult it was going to be compared to GCSEs and it took him a while to find his lane so to speak.
I felt a bit removed from it all because it was very much encouraged that the students were independent so it was difficult to know exactly what was going on.
I did wonder if he would have been better at a 6th Form College rather than carry on at school, but he made it through in the end.

There's a support thread here if that's any help-
