Teen PMT

My DD is 14 and has had her periods since the age of 12. Just recently she's been getting horrendous PMT and some hormone linked migraine and sickness episodes. At certain times of the month she's just awful to be around, starting arguments, back chatting, being disrespectful, but when her period isn't due she's an utter delight, just the nicest young lady, really funny and lovely.

I hate falling out with her but it's so hard at times so I'm just looking for some suggestions about what I can do to ease her PMT, and maybe help her moods in the lead up to her period.

I struggled with horrendous periods my whole life and had terrible PMT which cost me friends and relationships, I don't want her to go through the same.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

I had this myself as a teenager I went on the pill and it sorted the issue out totally I'd recommend that to be honest

If she's still rude and awful let her crack on, us women have to learn to live with it I'm afraid

My DD 14 has been suffering stomach migraines, head migraines and feeling nauseous for 10 months now. I also feel PMT is bringing out nasty back chat and rage. It’s hard going!

Yes maybe go down the hormonal route from gp, my issue was always the most horrendous cramps that would make me retch and shake with pain so crazy but then sorted when went on The pill. I stopped pull after dc1 and have continued to have excruciating cramps but not mood swings
