My 15 year old has asked if he can get monthly pocket money. His friends get about 40-50€ a month. Just wondering what other people do

My 16 year old gets £10 a week which is linked to jobs she does round house. She can earn more if she does extra.

14 year gets £20 a month base and he has the opportunity to earn more by working for me or doing extra jobs like cleaning the car. We pay for his phone and all clothing.

At 15 think it was £110/month, that covered school lunches (£45-£50ish for basic lunch), giff gaff for phone (£8 for basic package) and all socialising. So he had to think and budget to keep enough for school lunch If he wanted more data or Spotify/netflix etc he paid for it. He still got same in school holidays to cover going out more.

12 year old gets £7.50 a week, she can top this up by another £3 by doing a specific job (that I hate but she doesn't care about doing).

I will still transfer her over £3-5 if she goes out for the day/afternoon for lunch, which happens once or twice a month and I'll reimburse her bus fares. She has a phone contract separate to this.

School lunches and school bus I cover, and she shares my Spotify family/Netflix etc.

£80 pcm including clothes plus I pay £10 phone contract and streaming services and Necessary Shoes /pants/ uniform type stuff. Ds doesn't go out though and if he does I seem to end up subbing it to encourage him 🙄
