Really sad summer

Anymore else finding it really hard to motivate their teens? Mine don't seem to know what they want to do and don't seem to be making much effort to organise themselves with friends etc. This is the first summer we haven't booked a holiday, with bills going up we didn't want to eat into our savings but I now really regret it as I feel I'm letting them down.
My youngest (end of Year 7) just wants to be at home :(

Get a paddle board! Mine has had the best day ever one ours with his friends today. DS and I go all the time with our dog but this is the first time he’s gone with friends (we were there too but didn’t really get a look in!).

We have one.....it is just getting them to go and leave the house. We used to do so much!! I am sure the lockdown has created social anxiety or something.
