Getting ready

We seemed to be on an upward trajectory with our Dd but had a bad week.
We were going out for a family meal on Sunday and as it was warm she struggled to find a suitable outfit that wasn’t ‘too dressy’. This led to a melt down like we haven’t seen before. She has social anxiety but the pub we were going to is quiet and with close family so this wouldn’t usually bother her. We did manage to go in the end and had an ok time. We talked about her outburst and th out for it was just one of those things.
however, this seemed to start a trend where on Monday she struggled to get ready for school on time (she is starting to enjoy school now so it was all unexpected). Managed to get her there but it was tears all the way.
yesterday was brilliant- ready on time and a positive day at school.
today I could see the ‘red mist’ of panic appear and she couldn’t get ready in time. She was in such a state she has stayed home. She said she didn’t sleep well and panicked and couldn’t manage the time.
she is really good managing time for school tasks and homework but seems to struggle getting ready. She likes to look ‘perfect’.
she did see a counsellor privately about 18 months ago but the counsellor didn’t think she needed any more sessions after about 6 weeks and she has been so positive and settled.
any advice?
