How to celebrate for your 6ft cool 😎 son, laid back but I want him to have memories 💙

Suit ✅
Celebration Meal ✅
Few House Decs ✅

Anything additional?

Tbh I don’t think it’ll be his mum who makes the night memorable, whatever you do, because it’s now all about the peer group.
And that’s as it should be.

TBH, my role in prom is a) buying the suit/accessories of ds's choice b) helping him buy a corsage for his girlfriend (having previously established what she was wearing to ensure the suit went with her dress) and c) driving them in my nice car which he will clean
The memories though, thats all down to him!

I think those are lovely suggestions OP. What about some nice champagne to have as a family, then some drinks to have with his mates too.

The coolest thing your son could do is completely opt out and not go.

So encourage your son and his friends to get drunk for prom?
