Provisional licence turnaround times

Hi

Does anyone have any idea how long provisional licences are taking at the moment to be delivered? We’re at the stage it’s all been approved and have been notified it should arrive within two weeks but I was wondering if actually this was a true estimate or should actually be expecting it to take much longer?
I appreciate everyone’s experiences are different and like with passport applications some people seemed to get them back quickly and others it was taking months and months but just thought I’d ask….

No i I y sure exactly but my son got his much faster than we thought. I think they said two weeks or maybe four??? But it came within one week. Roughly. It took longer to sort out the photo lol

Was quick for us too.
I think the trick is if you have recently renewed passport then you can use that photo if I remember rightly?

Thanks! Don’t get me started on photos - had a right game - it kept being rejected because of shadows either on face or background but it’s been approved now and application processed so was just wondering what now…. How long to print and deliver - hopefully not too long then. Thanks

My DS applied last Monday, it arrived on the Thursday! His friends have all had similar when applying recently. Things have seriously improved since my DD applied in 2020.
