Hi looking for advice/ previous experiences here.
Son 13 has had a pretty rough time at school this year, it all stemmed from a falling out with a new group of friends he had ( well the ringleader of the group) .
it’s badly knocked his confidence:( at one point I thought he would refuse to go to school, on a few occasions he said he was ill when he wasn’t it was just to avoid school.
He’s been better lately but still has very few friends - stays in at dinner times. :-(.
He continues to be unhappy there but at least he goes. Ive applied for him to go to a new school (it’s one where the year group everyone is new) . He feels he would benefit from the new start. Ive told him that most places your not going to like everyone and vica versa.
So he has an interview well we both have to attend in a few weeks time. Any one any tips on what I should say to help him get into this school. It’s got a great reputation and I want to maximise his chance of getting in…..
