We're thinking of moving to Wendover (for a job opportunity) ... we have two boys of primary school age but looking for views of what life will be like for them as teenagers growing up there? What is there to do, how easy is it for them to get about independently without needing parent taxi service etc??

Any advice, views greatly appreciated, thanks.

Everything in Wendover is quite central. I have a primary school age boy and I don't drive. If u live in the center you can walk to schools of all age groups, including nurseries & preschools, at least 2 play parks, the local swimming pool (small), several open fields, the youth centre, the duck pond, the library, Tesco Express, Budgens, a few cafes, independent & charity shops, dentist, doctors, opticians & chemist. Oh & train station. Trains take 8 mins to Aylesbury. Not the nicest town but that's where all the shops, cinema etc are. Trains to London when they are old enough.
