My asd son is 13 in July and I was thinking about doing a tubing party which is about £16 per head for his sen class. There is a birthday room but you have to bring food. Would you bother or just do the activity with birthday cake and sweets to take home. The other thing is it’s for 6 upwards which means him 5.5 year old sister can’t join in.

I'd say food depends on timings of party. If it's not going to be at a traditional meal time I'd provide a variety of drinks and treats/snacks eg biscuits, a big basket full of individual bags of crisps, mini Haribo bags so they can choose what they like.
