Im getting a phone for 11yo DD in time for secondary school and she's getting an iPad from her school apparently. I'm now looking into ways of keeping her safe online and found this app - FYI Play It Safe. Apparently it's not a parental control app but flags harmful/alarming chat discussions. I think it's fairly new and I wondered if any of Mumsnet had used it and what you thought of it? It all seems a bit Big Brother but perhaps that's what we need to be doing?! Any other advice on online safety welcome too!
