Teens 14/15 internet access

Do all of your teens have full unchecked internet access?

Found out DD has just started to watch 18 films/tv (not porn or anything) on her laptop.
Her phone has restrictions, WiFi too but there are too many streaming sites to block.
Ive only just started letting her have laptop in her room (trying to trust her more, let her revise on her own)
I obviously can't trust her so we will go back to laptop in communal areas.
ALL of her friends have laptops in their room and on their phones and could be watching anything, parents don't seem to care.

What do people here do?? DD thinks I'm being a control freak, I want to trust her but I can't

I personally think a 15 year old is old enough for 18 movies
But each to their own

Watching 18 movies at 15 was a battle I chose not to fight. We had more pressing hills to die on. I'm sure she is right that her friends do watch them. Obviously she will be mighty pissed off with you and her friends will likely think her weird.

My DD watched 18 films at 15. It was in the days before Internet but the guy
In the DVD shop was a bit sweet on her and let her take out whatever she wanted. I didn't know for a very long time. It has done her no harm. This is not a hill I would choose to die on.
