DD doesn't want to go to uni but finding it hard to get into work

My DD is 19. Did well at school in her ALevels but does not want to go to uni. Ideally she wants to train to be a nail technician but would consider other things. She currently works in our village shop and has been there for many years and has some responsibility there but wants to try other things. Any advice from others whose teenagers did not go to uni?

Would she consider college to do HNC in beauty therapy?

Dc1 is just finishing a btec at college and has decided not to go to uni.
Has a part time job at the moment in a shop but knows doesn't want to do that longterm.
This last week or so seems to have been an increase in apprenticeships and jobs in the sectors Dc1 is looking at (I think new financial year may be part of it). So currently applying for anything and everything in sector looking at.
The problem seems that most apprenticeships are level 3 rather than 4 so looks like will need to do a level 3 and then look at level 4 after. Could this be a possibility or a college course? Dc1 is also finding lack of experience being an issue so is looking at jobs in sector interested in to gain experience to then hopefully progress. It seems though that dc is overqualified for some jobs/apprenticeships and under qualified for others so this week said to me 'I'm not going to be picky and instead just take whatever I can so that I get some experience'. It's not ideal the government have promised many times that there will be alternatives to uni it just seems to be a lot of hurdles to jump through and only in certain sectors.
