My DS is 15 and I have refused to give him his Nintendo Lite until he starts focusing more on his school work.
I wouldn't mind if he got home on a Friday and checked to see what assignments he had to do. But he will come in go on his phone that's it. At home he does no school work.
I told him he got to sort his chest of drawers out. His grandad gave it to him him a new bed and old wooden bed frame had drawers. So his clothes are still in them. He just put rubbish in the chest of draws.
He also got to hoover front room hallway but forgot to say I said I will help him do his chest of draws. I shouldn't have but said I would help.
Yesterday he was texting me tell me I am selfish etc. So told him forget your game.
Today he like he will do it all tommorow.
I thought wouldn't he rather get things out the way today relax tommorow. I have told him I am relaxing tommorow but obviously I will be cooking.
I know he got Adhd but he just being a normal rude teenager and I get he might struggle with but had enough and don't want to go home.
Any advice on how to handle this?
