What on Earth can I do to help my DD?
Her bf of 11 months just broke up with her out of the blue! She has cried on and off for two days and hasn’t really eaten. Is there anything I can do to ease the pain? It breaks my heart to see her like this!

Just to add she’s 15 and he’s 16 so I know they’re young but the hurt is real!

Ah poor the. I think you’ve just got to let her cry it out. Be there but I wouldn’t get into too much dialogue about gosh in the sea or that she’s better off. She not ready for the first one and she might get back with him so don’t slag him off just yet! Be there with the hugs and the ice cream.

Oh no, I feel for you both. Sadly I have no advice despite having experienced this with both of my children. I gave them lots of hugs and TLC, pampered them a bit, encouraged them to see friends but ultimately it was time that made them feel better again. So tough as a parent because you can't make it better for them.

Hang on in there!
