Coat in classroom

DS was told off today for refusing to take his coat off in class. Entry logged on his parent portal.
The Windows were all wide open and he said it was very cold.

Ridiculous. Things like that really annoy me but I would pick my battles (especially if he wasn't given a detention).

Buy him thermals. It was warm today and windows have been open since September. Is this the first time he's felt the cold?

I'd buy him thermals but I'd completely understand. I'd not want to take my coat off either. Don't think children work well when cold. My kids are going in with fleece lined hoodies and fingerless gloves tbh.

My dd's are allowed a black v neck jumper under blazers now due to windows open for ventilation.. Never been allowed coats and tbh they would have to carry round all day along with stupid amounts of school stuff.
