I'm sure some employers would be happy to take her on. A lot are struggling to find staff at the moment

It varies greatly by area. I’m on the outskirts of a city and employers either want over 18s or those who can commit to more than the summer.

On the other hand seaside/holiday towns are often desperate for staff.

We’re in London , so no small businesses
Any suggestions where to start looking pls

Local bars and pubs use kids to collect glasses. Waitressing in cafes, and chamber maiding in hotels and B&Bs. My 15yo did all three last summer. This summer she’ll be in a Fudge/sweet shop.

Also some independent shops will take on kids from 13, often toy shops etc.

DS works in a local hotel. He started when 16. He usually helps in the restaurant clearing tables but has also helped washing up in the kitchen
