where to find school trousers for tall very slim teen?

hi just having trouble with trousers as my son, 14 is very slim and tall and if the length is right then the fit on the top is too baggy, i have tried the slim fit/skinny fit in asda, sainsburys, next and nothing is right! any ideas where else i can try? he needs 176cm and in black

DS is 14 and a skinny 188 cms. I gave up on school trousers and he now has men’s slim fit suit trousers from Next.

M&S long or extra long.

How tall is tall? 6ft DS wears M and S slim fit age 17-18 black school trousers. He's 15.

My 12 year old son is the same, very tall for his age and very very slim built. I’ve tried everywhere I can think of. Best fit has been next as they sell slim fit (still to wide at waist but pull in) and several different leg styles. Not the cheapest but worth it to help him feel less self concious.

When we needed school trousers I used to buy for a younger age but buy the longer length. That seemed to work ok. M&S.

My 14 year old is 6ft 1 and like a bean pole. He wears Next slim, extra long mens trousers.

Most supermarkets do longer length trousers, they are 2" longer than normal. My boy is 6' 1" and 15. I check the leg lengths, as they get longer the bigger the size. He is currently in the 16 age, slim fit, long. The waist is then adjustable for the perfect fit.

M&S extra long in super skinny - they only have them online but my 6'3 slim ds still has a decent length in these and they don't flap

M&S longer length also have a hem you can let down when they grow

John Lewis have long school trousers with adjustable waists.

M&S skinny trousers in extra long did ds until he was 16 then he moved to river island mens.

I was going to suggest next (I see you've tried that) or m and s.

And yes to looking at mens section too.

My 14-year-old is in Next slim fit age 17 with the adjustable waists pulled right in. Not ideal, but the only ones I could find in stock that were anywhere near long enough for him. He's 5'11" and all legs. When he outgrows these he'll need men's.
