Hi guys,
DD16 is requesting the sims 4 for christmas for which she will pay for herself. Is it child appropriate? I am not a gamer. Thanks

The sims is great its oerfwctly fine for a 16 year old my 13 year old playa regularly, when my 6 and 7 year olds have a go on it with me. It's basically a life simulation. Create your person/family and lice a life.

I have played the sims games since the first one came out and I was much younger. It is a life simulator. I suppose the only slightly inappropriate thing is that couples can 'woo hoo' in bed etc but you don't see anything at all and wouldn't see that as an issue for a 16 year old

Yes it’s definitely fine for a 16yo. I started playing sims 2 when I was about 10 and haven’t given it up though, it is quite an addictive game!

16? Absolutely fine. Expansion packs are up to 50% on Origin now. Let me know if you want reçs on the best ones. The base game will be very basic so it’s good to build on it.

Sims is a great, very wholesome game. Think of it as a virtual dollhouse, on a bigger scale.
