GPS trackers for bags?

13yo DD has not appeared home from school school again and I'm out looking for her. Her phone is off and she only has a brick phone so i can't track her. She's smashed all the smart phones she's had so without that I can't usually family link
Those little Tile things only work via Bluetooth so that's no good. I have a Samsung phone.
Any ideas?

Does she often go missing or is it just after school, it must be a worry but is tracking her the solution.

Just on the way home from school so far. She doesn't go out on her own otherwise, which is a relief!
