So my daughter is 13 and has started her period she's autistic but verbal she's finding it hard to deal with and it's a big change for her she's been on the pill but hasent been much help it's a big sensory problem for her when she's older she said she would rather adopted then have a child is stopping her period a good idea and how would they stop it would she stay on the pill non stop I don't want her to damage her body buy stopping it she can't use tampon but is to anxious about going to the gp with me and she suffers from bad anxiety and depression

Has she tried period pants? My daughter coped so much better when we discovered these. We use modibodi or wuka and she can wear the same pair all day at school and change when she comes home

Period pants might be easier for her to deal with? Dd struggled for the first few cycles but copes fine now - she is autistic

Yes I would try modibodi pants before you try medication but failing that discuss with GP
