Have just been on the phone to my daughter's college as i had a text through to ask for me to contact them re vaccination.

Guess it was a routine text.

Phoned the person in charge of vaccinations and they said the government had just issued instructions to say the second jab for teenagers will be not until they are seventeen.

For my DD this is at least ten months away.

This has not been covered in the press at all. Or anywhere.

Given the rates are so hight in colleges and schools anyone else got anything to say about this?

16+ can get them done in the community if eligible

Second vaccines aren't in the current plan for under 18s as far as I'm aware.
DS just turned 18 and received a letter inviting him to book his second one at a walk in clinic.
I'm struggling to get an appt for my 15 year old who missed the school vaccine roll out as he had just had covid, but because he's under 16 and not high risk, there's nowhere offering him a vaccine. Crazy.
