14 year old has bf who smokes

My 14 year old daughter has recently started 'dating' a boy in her year. We knew him before and he seemed like a nice lad, but i have overheard from dds friends that he smokes.- i know 14 is very young for all of this but dds is very stubborn. I have talked to her about boundaries with this boy and peer pressure but they seem very set on eachother. (They are the same age)

If he is nice then that's great. It's a shame he is smoking but doesn't mean your dd will. Were her friends talking about him smoking in a positive or negative way? If negative that's really helpful.

I mean great she has a nice boyfriend, not great that he smokes.

I agree. I wouldn't worry about him smoking, it is hardly a cardinal sin and he is likely to have stopped smoking by the time he leaves school.
