DS 16th Birthday - trying to avoid a sleepover

DS turns 16 next week and wants a sleep over. Trouble is our house is all one level and quite small. If they slept in the lounge, then my DD would be up all night as her room is next to it.

DS and his mates are also very loud and 'sweaty' and one of our neighbours has previously kicked off at DS language when playing the X Box, so god knows what she'd make of a group of them at gone midnight Hmm

I feel the garden is out for similar reasons.

Does anyone have any ideas? Some kind of experience that could involve a group of them? Perhaps with an overnight stay? A sleepover is the only bloody thing he's asked for

Can you not send dd to a grandma/aunt/other sleepover for the night? It’s not much to ask for really and he’ll be off in a couple of years

I think you should tell the neighbour it’s his 16th and there will be a bit of noise … tough luck. It’s
not every day. DD could stay with a friend?

Go-carting? Indoor track? Pizza afterwards. It's quite ££££ though!

Let’s him have it.
Warn the neighbours, it’s a one-off. Kids have had a shitty time in the pandemic so I’d be more accommodating than usual. I’m not a fan of sleepovers either at mine, but still allow them!!
His sister could stay at a friend’s or relative’s perhaps?

Paintballing instead?

You could find a campsite on pitchup and send him and his Dad to do that while you and DD enjoy an evening of peace. Although on the one hand it is his birthday maybe he needs to learn to moderate his volume a little.
