Any ideas as to where 15yr old DD might do some volunteering? She's open to anything pretty much. TIA

Is there anything she is part of? As that is usually a good place to start..... eg Scouts and Guides have a Young Leader scheme......eg most sports clubs have ways the older members can help out with the younger teams.......
If doing DofE, then some places will accept them for a placement, but outside of that I think most places prefer volunteers to be over 16 (or even 18).

Local Wildlife Trust? Ours did a specific D of E scheme, but I’m sure most would welcome volunteers.

Is this for DofE purposes or something else?
What interests her / career aspirations?

An after school club (general help, playing)
Old people's home (playing games, chatting)
Beavers/RainbowsCubs/Brownies (if already involved higher up)
Wildlife trust
Community clean up scheme
Community pantry
Dog walking for frail person

I met a volunteer for cat protection league recently. Part of her volunteering literally involves playing with kittens to socialise them to handling & human contact. I thought "That's MY kind of volunteering."

When I was doing my DoE I volunteered at the local oxfam shop. I did Saturday afternoons there. I loved it. Also gave me some good experience for when I needed a real Saturday job. I walked into my first retail job after 18 months of doing that.

A lot of animal places won't take under 18s let along under 16s.
