I have to pickup DD from Leeds Festival on Monday.
If anyone has done this do you have any advice please?
DD going tomorrow so it would be really useful to have made a plan beforehand.

No sorry OP. Did you make a plan in the end?

I dropped DS and friends off yesterday. I'm relying on them having battery left in their phone to let them know which pick-up zone I'm in. Hopefully one of them will have battery!

I did this two years ago, the traffic was all very well planned, I did queue for a bit but as it was one way maybe only about 15 mins. The kids found me okay in the field, though I can't remember how it was organised. I usually track DD on Snapchat maps but there was very little connection.

It took AGES for DD and her friends to actually get to me though, their idea of "ready" and mine were clearly very different!

They were desperate for proper toilets and a MacDonalds on the way home! They also looked wrecked!

Thank you for your tips everyone. That’s really good to know that it wasn’t too bad a couple of year ago. I was dreading being stuck in queues of car for hours.
The only thing I did before DD left was to enable her to track me on her phone in the hope they can find me.
Would love to get there really early and get it over with but there’s no chance they would be up!!!

DD went to Boardmasters this year and drove herself home, which is a whole new level of worry, especially with the car park fiasco (took five hours to just leave the site) and it being a six hour drive at the best of times. She wasn't home until early hours of the next day. Apparently a 30 min wait for a MacDonalds too as the services were full of festival-goers!
