DD 17 - Eating worries

My 17yo dd ( going into Y13) has been on the pill for 6 months or so due to terrible period pains & acne but just recently she’s become aware that she’s always hungry & worried she has an eating disorder. Selves said she thinks about food all the time 😧
I’m pretty sure the pill has increased her appetite but also she’s now a young woman & is developing as such. Her hips & bum are a little more well rounded now but she’s still slim. However she’s become a bit obsessed with calorie counting apps ( we deleted them together on her wishes) , the scales (I told her I’ve put them away) & she wants to remove or cover the full length mirror from her bedroom which is pretty dramatic.

How can I help her feel better about herself other than keep telling her she’s perfect ?

She’s lost motivation to exercise & got so upset telling me all this last night.

All her peers, girls & boys have developed & put weight on, basically matured, so she’s not alone - it’s something that I said to her.
