There are some of my dc's friends whom I've only ever known by their nicknames. Sometimes I didn't even know it was a nickname.
In this situation, when the friend's parent contacts you and refers to their dc using the teen's full name, do you use the name the parent uses or the name you've been using for the past 3-4-5 years?
