Help! Teenage son, 13 can’t do anything - computer games and then phone games. He seems to have lost interest in everything- doesn’t even want to go away, he can’t see the point. His friends actually came by yesterday and they didn’t seem to know what to do either. They were all back on computers within half an hour.
He doesn’t seem to want to call anyone, he might do a club if a mate were to go but no one seems to . They all seem to be off with various relatives, we have no one. his favourite friend has a mum who is happy for me to arrange stuff for her son, but doesn’t seem to return the favour to the point where I feel like I’m being needy asking her son to stuff. ( and a bit resentful. How hard is it to add someone to a day out?)
Also after lockdown, I’ve just lost the energy to go anywhere myself,
We seem to have done this area to death, and I’m not sure I can summon up the energy to be faced with negativity and him on his phone anyway.
Dh working very hard and not as deperessed as he was, but I still find it hard work.
Also feel swamped with all the other stuff there is to do. Every single day. It’s like Groundhog Day.
What can I do with ds? Or should I leave him to it? Seems like he has no fun.

Could you arrange an activity for him?

Archery, paddleboarding, sailing, something fun? Did he like anything when he was younger?

Some time out doors might do him some good?
