Tell me if I’m overthinking. Ds 15 has a new friend who’s just turned 17. They’ve been friends a few months via her cousin who he knows. He’s now going about with her a lot more than the other girl or the rest of his friends. He’s spending more than he should be I feel i.e. over and above what we give him. He says he wants to buy her stuff as she’s been buying him stuff lately. Things like a chain, top.. he doesn’t have great social confidence and although has friends he tends to do this, skip from one to the other to the other. Does it sound genuine do you think? Ok she’s over a year older but not 18.
