DD out all night

AIBU to be upset when my DD18 goes out late at night refusing to say where she's going, whether she's coming home or not? I know she's an adult but how can I stop worrying about her? No idea where she is who she's with whether she'll be home or not. And I'm supposed to sleep. I wouldn't just go out and refuse to tell my family where I'll be for the next 12 hours.

Then tell her? It's common courtesy to tell you she's going out and when you might expect her home. Or to keep you relatively updated.

She's not responsible for your worrying of course but she shouldn't just disappear overnight without telling you that

You'll probably get other responses telling you it's not your business but I don't subscribe to that. My daughter is 22 and moving out soon but she tells me when she's staying out and where she is. Not because I have control issues but because it's simple manners
