I'm glad he's decided to, even with all the cocerns you both have just now

I toughed it out, taking one production off for O Levels, until Lower Sixth

By that time my Beloved Leader had been ousted in favour of Daddie Dearest so I was quite happy to push off, tbh

Hope the leader that you like so much can hang in there TM

I think the original leader is still going to be around but I am not privy to the the balance of power as it were. I am madly hoping that the influence of the dance orientated leader is a little more diluted next time round. I feel a bit disloyal saying this as she has obviously given so much to this show. At least ds1 will know what he is letting himself in for if she is in charge.

Marina, in case you didn't know, the idea of this show just gone was to celebrate of the 'spirit' of the NS group. On the last night, several older ex NS members got up on stage to join the cast in the finale and other ex NS-ers waved from the audience

Oh and ds1 had two fans - two girls from his class at school turned up to watch him - a possible reason why ds1 might be staying on.....

Sounds great! so glad it went well. Didn't mean to be alarming - just bitter experience. Organisations should really be honest, up front, about what they are going to ask of young people.

Definitely agree motheroftwoboys. I am really glad you posted your experience of drama club commitment. Thanks again.
