Hi,
I'm looking for ideas for an 18th present for my nephew - would like something that will last and is memorable, but still cool. Any suggestions?

Hi how about something like a st christopher pendant & chain and get the back engraved, we got my BiL one for his 21st and he loved it, but suppose it depends on what they in-to

What about a pen engraved with his name/the date.
Not overly cool but certainly useful. I got one for my db for his 21st and he still uses it now, 10 years later

That was my first thought too, sKerryMum - or vouchers - but I changed as it doesn't fit the 'memorable' bit.
Still think it might be a good idea ...

Ds has a silver link ID bracelet that he is extremely attached to - is that something your nephew would like. Ds isn't keen on the OTT stuff, but his is quite understated.

can he drive yet?, a few driving lessons might be an idea!, expensive for kids without help. i would save the pen, jewellery idea for his 21st, he will probs appreciate them more at that age!

Thanks all. have been away for the weekend!
Like the ideas. His dad is rich as anything, so he's not short of cash for things like driving lessons. I' not rich...but would like to spend about £100 on something rather than cash. I'm off to look at pens
