Pocket Money

I have 15 year old twins turning 16 in a few months - how much pocket money is reasonable? currently pay for all their sports which are a fortune and costly and then buy them bits when they need it or give them ££ if they do go out with friends which obviously lately hasnt been at all !! Thank you

I know it's hard with Covid but I made mine get a job! Is that a possibility? I think it's vital they start earning something at this age. It helps them grow in confidence.

Mine earns a weekly wage but it's not a lot. So we pay for her phone and bus card obviously and I probably give her about 30 pounds a week in reality...when you spread it out...so not every week but one week she might get nothing and the next 50...if you see what I mean.

She has her own wage to rely on though.
