My DD is almost 16 and although she's not ultra girlie I know she'd appreciate perfume for Christmas but I have not idea at all which one! It needs to be light enough to wear at school but not babyish or overly fruity..... any ideas?

The Ariana Grande perfumes are nice for everyday wear. My DD is 15 and also loves Hugo Boss’ The Scent for Her and Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Eau So Sweet which are a bit pricier but smell lovely 😊

I have a not girly girl and she like Marc Jacobs Daisy. We got it her when she was 14 some years later still the only one she wears

passthemustard · 23/11/2020 14:26

My DD is 19 now and also loves Marc Jacobs Daisy, she's been collecting all the different ones because the bottles are gorgeous.

BigSandyBalls2015 · 23/11/2020 14:27

There's a new Marc Jacobs one out which my DD has her eye on - Perfect

Buggedandconfused · 23/11/2020 14:28

My 16 year old wants Glossier You.

DidIMissSomething · 23/11/2020 14:47

Both of my DD's - 16 and 14 like CKin2u for her, CKone (good retro choice!) and CKall. Among their group androgynous perfumes are popular. Interestingly they don't really like the Marc Jacobs ones - it's such an individual thing. I'm sure she'll love whatever you choose.

Recommend you go for a tester set of small bottles of perfumes then your dd can try a few out. There are some lovely sets out there.

Great ideas... thanks so much. Especially liking the idea of the miniatures, great size for school bag! Will get looking x

Vera,Wang Princess is really nice and very cheap (not sure why, possibly being discontinued?) I bought it for DD (aged 10) but it's so nice I have a cheeky spray myself every now and then. Blush

pronxcessxo · 23/11/2020 17:21

lush do some really lovely unique perfumes that aren't too girly

My daughter love Juicy Couture. It is on sale in Boots at the moment for Black Friday so it is usually around €68 but selling for €39

hesaidshesaidwhat · 25/11/2020 12:45

Have a look at Perfume Parlour. They do dupes that are very very good (recommended on her all the time). You could buy say 6 different perfume dupes for her to try and then buy the 'real' one. This worked really well with my DS and meant he could wear them all day and really get used to the smell and see what he liked.

My daughter has Marc Jacobs Daisy too!! She’s always loved it! X
