Morning after Pill

Hi all this is my 1st post. I have a 16 year old daughter (acting like she is 21 lol) I know she has the odd ciggie and a drink (not often) and I have always encouraged her to be open and honest and to think no subject is taboo to me. Love my mum as I do she was the complete opposite when I was that age! Anyway, her bag was left on the sofa and I honestly wasn't snooping, was looking for her college ID for parent mail registration and found an empty morning after pill packet. Now the problem is do I ask her about it or keep quiet? I'm not a prude and up until now she always says she is not interested in lads. Am feeling at a loss really, anyone have any ideas how to handle this sensibly please?

I would probably ask but it will harm the relationship you have with her if you did not have a genuine reason to be getting the I'd.
I would not go into my dd bag unless she told me too which she once done and I found a photo off her smoking I went mad as she has asthma
You have to think if she is sexually active does she need other contraception.
Tell her you just want to help.

You had a good reason to look in her bag and have a good relationship so I would tell her that you've seen it.

My dd recently had unprotected sex. She took the morning after pill but also ordered an online std check which she needed me to help with (taking a small blood sample). It's worth talking to your dd in case this is something that she hasn't thought about.
