Hi , I’m just looking for thoughts , my dd doesn’t seem to have any interests or hobbies she does karate which she’s been doing since she was 7 she’s getting closer to black belt but wants to give it up as it’s too much effort . The year 10’s have to do CCF this year but she’s reluctant I’ve suggested the dofe but that’s too much effort I’m actually finding it difficult to find voluntary work which is even more difficult because of the pandemic . All she wants yo do is sit in get room on her phone . Is anyone else having this with their teen ?

I am having this with myself at the moment! Think it's covid fatigue (not from having it but in general). No advice really just sympathy.

Exercise helps. Can you drag her out for a daily walk or else she has to choose something else to do independently? E.g yoga session (Adrienne on YouTube is fab and has hundreds of videos, all free and of various lengths).
