What time do you allow teenager to stay out until?

Just wondering what time people think is reasonable to allow 15yr old to stay out until at weekend? During the week isnt a problem, but now wants to go out at weekend, not far just down road. She has asked for midnight, but I think 11pm is late enough. However I do remember being that age and being the one who had to go home first is no fun. What are your thoughts on this? She is a very sensible 15yr old.

Between 10pm and midnight (which doesn't really help with your dilemma!)

It all depends on where they are and who they're with (and what they're likely to get up to) plus how they get home.

Watching with interest as we have hit this age and it has led to a few arguments. 10pm seems to be the agreement at the moment.

Allow her out to 12 as a one off and give her that trust, but pick her up from wherever she is as its very late to be walking home.

Mine is 17 and it's midnight in the week and 1am at the weekend. But I'm in Italy where that's normal (even a bit strict!) Your times sound more than generous for the UK and that age!

Let her stay out til 11.45 last night. Was at park chatting with friend. Literally 150 metres down the road. She pushed for longer but we said no. As I say she is very sensible, not likely to be led into doing something she wasn't happy with. Would definitely pick her up if she was any further.

Where are are there is no indoor mixing, I havent had to set ds(16) a time as he's usually in by 10 either because he's too wet/cold, or most of his friends need to be home by 10.

Think we will just play it by ear. We have compromised for tonight and said 11.30. She is only 1 min away if any problems.
