I actually don't know how to deal with this DS is 12 almost 13 and is very friendly with a girl at school. I have noticed over the last week how he keeps mentioning his 'friend' to me quite a lot. Turns out his friend is a girl he really likes.

He seems besotted with her. He was crying this morning because they've broken off for half term and he misses her. He said he feels like this every day after school and now he isn't going to see her for over a week.

I've tried to tell him I understand how he feels etc and that he can always talk to me about anything. Since I have said that he hasn't stopped talking about her! He's hardly eaten today because he feels sick.

I genuinely don't know what to do about this he's gone from being a gaming, football obsessed boy into a lovestruck teenager

Can he facetime her or some other social media. My dd and her bf are 17 and we are in level 5 lockdown so no socialising allow for 6 weeks so they off on Mid term now also and keep in touch by facetime.
