Teen wants to socialise with more than 6

It's a no from us - obviously, but her argument that they are outdoors (local park) and are together in school all day is hard to counter.
Not sure what I'm after here - anyone else finding the same? She seems to have a group of friends who's parents are totally "chill" and allowed to be out in a big group, drinking (they're y11) until whatever time they choose (around 10).
The fact that we let her do this the last two weekends is another hole in our argument.
I do feel really sorry for her, her social life is just kicking off and she just wants to go out and have a laugh with her mates but as they're all (seemingly) allowed to go out as a group, she can't then suggest they split into smaller groups and don't drink as they will go ahead anyway with or without her

I would be more concerned about the drinking but tbh I’d probably turn a blind eye to there being more than 6 because they have been in school together and they’re outside. It could be that there are only 6 in the way the group splits. If only teens weren’t so honest these days Grin

It would be a no from me especially with alcohol involved.

I think I might let her. Though not so chilled about the drinking.

@balzamico depends on the restrictions on your area.
No to drinking In park
What age are they 15/16
I allow dd1 drink at parties but her group dont do park drinking there will definitely be more that 6 gathering if they in a park and drinking other groups will start joining into each other.
My dd was invited to a house party last weekend but I didn't allow her she threw a tantrum. It was only supposed to be 6 girls but I saw photos and definitely more than 6.
