I literally have no clue?! We're looking to upgrade my son's school bag for Christmas as his current one is old and knackered.

Superdry used to be very "in" but not sure if it still is?

Any advice would be fab! He's 13.

My DS is older (19), but very label conscious. He has a plain black Nike rucksack that he sues for gym, football, etc.

My son is 13 and anything by north face,Adidas ,Nike or lacoste gets the go ahead

DownThePlath · 03/10/2020 13:01

Vans is a good brand for bags

UsernameNotValid · 03/10/2020 13:03

Have you asked him what he'd like or noticed any brand he favours?

My son is 14 but not into labels at all so he prefers to choose his own based on colour/design.

Vans
North face
Nike
Adidas

NOT
Hype
Reebok (why?!)
Super dry (this is now apparently cringe)

Cuddling57 · 03/10/2020 13:05

I'd stick with plain black mike or Adidas.
I wouldn't want to get a really expensive one for school - they get chucked about, left on the floor and worst case stolen!

WeAllHaveWings · 03/10/2020 16:04

ds(16) has had the same North Face backpack since he started secondary (well after the adidas one was ditched within 2 weeks as it was was waterproof as a teabag). It is a bit battered looking outside but he likes it and doesn't want a new one.

If you want trendy ask your ds to make sure you get the right one as it isn't always the same brands popular across different schools/years. Super Dry has never been popular in ds's school or with his friends.

Supreme, y3, o.v.o, Canada Goose.

DD12 has superdry bag and is luckily enough to go to a school where none of the kids care.

We've gone from superdry to now Hollister or Vans
