16th birthday gift

I need ideas please.
DS loves gaming and is also interested in an analogue watch. Normally he would have a day out for a gift but we don't want to do that in case it has to be cancelled.

My Ds also into gaming ..he asked for cash , and sent links to some specific tech stuff. He explained gently to me that i shouldn't get brave and buy surprises as they were unlikely to be what he wanted

DS1 got a designer watch he chose himself.

We talked about a customised remote but he says they aren't worth the money, he's looking for a watch but hasn't found the right one. He's said the same about no surprises

Oh and if you're worried about it being cancelled, it was cancelled three times for DS but was all very easy to rebook/speak to someone etc.
