Depop for 14 year old

So my 14 year old wants to start selling clothes on depop. The age for depop is 13 but you have to link to a PayPal account for which you must be 18.
The suggestion seems to be he should link it to my PayPal account. I’m slightly weary just in case he starts buying things without asking as my PayPal is linked to my bank account.
Anyone have any ideas or does anyone else’s teenager use depop?

My DD15 regularly checks out clothes on depop and would like to sell some bits. My older son sells clothes this way sometimes and has always found it easy and straightforward. He is an adult though so obviously sorts all the financials out himself.
