Hi all, would u leave a 17 year old overnight or for weekend ?

Yes done it a few weeks ago for first time day after her 17th birthday came home to perfect tidy house.
I was afraid before I left that she would be organising a party as she loves partying.
But no party she just had a weekend with her bf they loved having house to themselves didn't want others around.
Cleaned up after themselves so I have no worries about about further nights away.

Simple answer here. Yes.

jessstan2 · 03/08/2020 02:51

Yes as long as they were happy being home alone overnight; they could invite a friend to stay to keep them company.

Yes of course. I'd happily leave them for as long as we were away/on holiday even at 16.

They'd be fine with it, and are very switched on and sensible.

My kids, yes.

I definitely know some 17 year olds that I wouldn’t trust so it depends on what they’re like.
