He got stopped by the police (community officer) in our village the other night. I think there have been some problems with local yooofs recently, he was on his way to the shop to get me a pint of milk. They gave him the illegible copy of the form they fill in detailing who he was and what he was wearing.

It is a pity it is illegible I would love to know the reason they gave for stopping him

Why not phone them up and ask? Surely you are entitled to know?

NORMA
I thought your lad was an upstanding member of the community

WHAT HAS HE BEEN UP TO?

but don't tell him I said that lol

Trinity - he claims that they were just stopping everybody (though he might have been carrying a can of beer and he doesn't look 18)

Saltire - I could ring them up, but don't want to make a fuss really.

Hah - well TONIGHT have had a man turn up on my doorstep telling me that my son was caught on CCTV and handheld video camera with a group of 4 others smashing up a van (his son was one of the others)

DS1 came down and said - hell no - I was trying to stop them, that is why I didn't run away when the VidCam came out. Bloke said "oh, so it was you screaming at them to stop?"

DS said "yep, check the video"

I mean really he is not a bad kid (oh but he has done some Baaaad things, and he is not classed as pfb or anything, infact, when bloke turned up I believed the worst)

But some of the people he hangs around with?!?!?!?!?!

Turns out DS is telling the truth and he was the good guy

Good for him - treat the boy! Not easy to intervene/try to intervene. Hope mine would do that if necessary

Well done, ds!
