Norton has informed us that 13yo ds tried to access porn sites from his phone yesterday.

Any advice on how to address this with ds?

Although it's very worrying that your young child is being exposed to this content at such a young age, it is quite common among teenage boys of that age to have these sexual tendencies. I think you need to inform him of the dangers of him forming unrealistic expectations of sex. There's graphic content on websites and you need to teach him how to release in a safe way. It's challenging, but ultimately a lot of kids access these sites. I hope everything works out okay x

I think looking at it is normal around that age. I was 11 when I first watched it - a friend said it ‘popped up’ when she was on the computer and I got curious! I then watched it a lot really. Maybe buy a book that goes through ‘teen feelings’ - masturbation is seen as a norm for boys so it’s a bit different but I felt SO different to everyone else. Make sure he respects women and knows that porn isn’t real life
