Need some reassurance on this subject.
While away with DH last weekend 13yr old Ds was staying with grandparents.
He is chats on Discord ( gaming chat room)and the app is also my phone, as he used to have it on my phone till he goot this own. He is fully aware that I see his chat log.
He started chatting with a female friend and asked her to say, that he wanted to be a a girl, so he knew I would see it. The convo continued in that vain for a while,he was saying things like he wanted to tell us etc. There has been no indication of this previously. When we came home, I did speak to him about it and he was a bit confused.
He is very much into Japanese anime and I feel this may have something to do with it . Recently hes being chatting on discord about trap clothing ( googled it and its about dressing female to trap males.)hes doesn't go out on his own ( home educated) and he is on the autistic spectrum, think hes confused about his body changing.
Im trying to support best I can outwardly but my husband and I are panicking inside. Im not homophobic, just concerned of whats hes getting involved in
If anyone experience of this sort of behaviour, id appreciate some advice

Look at Transgender Trend for support. Let him dress as he pleases while carefully holding the line that he is a boy. Kids with autism are horribly susceptible to some of the excesses of trans activism so try to keep him o away from the wilder corners of the internet or groups which demand “affirmation” rather than watchful waiting or acceptance of his gender non-conformity as his way of being his own version of himself and avoiding stereotypes.
