Sixth form interview

My Dd has an interview for a 6th form college tonight and she wants me and her Dad to go with her. Now I’m wondering what exactly the interview will be like and what will they ask her and should we both go with her. Any teachers out there?

How did it go?
You can accompany/chaffeur her but it's odd if you would actually sit in the interview with her. She's got to speak for herself.

Hi ragged it went well thanks - she was offered a place depending on grades. It was a bit awkward as we all went and were shown into a room which was empty and I said to the interviewer I am sorry I don’t think I told you we were all coming and she sort of said that’s ok you can sit on the next table if you like but that felt odd so we sat on the same table as I think my daughter looked at me as though to say don’t leave me. But we kept quiet and let her answer and she did really well. There was only one part where I chipped in and that was when she couldn’t remember something! But I really shouldn’t have!! Luckily I looked up what may come up on the internet and questions such as
Why do you want to come to this school and usual stuff such as what hobbies and are you a team player type of questions did come up so we were ready for those (did a quick run through in the car on the way) it wasn’t a breeze though as they did pick up on her weaknesses -mentioned in her school report and gave her a bit of a mini lecture about those - so it was very good practice as I don’t think she was expecting them to actually read her report in detail ! It was not my DDs 1st choice but you never know so glad we did that one first!
