Prom Pumps/ Footwear

DD has bought a lovely elegant red sequin and chiffon long dress for prom. It's off the shoulder and fitted with a floaty soft skirt. DD only wears NIKE Airforce One trainers and wants to wear some sort of trainers/ pumps to her prom. She's really not a shoe. sandal, clippy cloppy dress shoe type of girl .. she'd only fall over ha! ha!

So, I'm looking for maybe a lovely pair of sequinned pumps with a bit of height (like the Air Forces), although dd is about 5ft 7".. but not having much luck. Obviously don't want to spend a fortune .

Any good online sources ? Or I am based in Berkshire

Ooh yes I’ve had a look at these, Rd will probably say ‘ugh horrible’ .. because I’ve suggested something ha! ha!
Dress Desire nr Newbury. Website is easily found. Good luck, we were apparently late sourcing a dress but the lady is fabulous !

Why not just buy a pair of red Air Force 1's and a mock Swarowski crystal set and glue and DIY ? A girl at ds's prom last year did exactly that and was the talk of the night as most of the girls were struggling in high heels they weren't used to.

You can get those kits from fabric shops/craft places. Then she can either pick the bling off and wear them afterwards or sell them as-is for a fortune when next prom season rolls around. Bet you they'd be snapped up!
