Just so glad it's back to school. I'm worn out, bored of entertaining, fed up with the constant meals and not being able to relax at all.

My ds has just admitted that he hid the school trousers I couldn’t find to wash, because he put his knee through them in the last week of term. Hmm

Just how quickly can M&S deliver? Grin

Mintjulia looks like he will be back to school like that unless you can do an emergency shop? just trying to get mine to have a shower after doing a parkrun this morning and another run this afternoon. Living room smells like sweat and mud 🤢 he finally moved upstairs after insisting on eating numerous snacks first. He's now in the bathroom but not showering and playing music on you tube 😤

DD (Yr11) has ‘lost’ most of her winter PE kit.
Given it’s her last term before study leave and the first couple of weeks are mocks, AIBU to not buy new ones and hope we can dodge the uniform police Grin

My dd y12 came up with a big whole in her school bag of course she doesn't know how it happened and expects me to buy a new one. Her sister y10 kindly gave hers to big sister to save me buying one.
The y10 said she would use an old one which the y12 totally refused. I'm not looking forward to the first fallout where y10 will want bag back.

I'm dreading the morning palaver of trying to get yr13 out of bed.

I keep telling myself it's just one more term...one more term...

Ironing my sons trousers yesterday I discovered a hole under the zip. I just decided at Christmas I have left my sewing class too. Flippin typical! 🙈

ds(15)'s body clock is way out of sync with the holidays and staying up late. Tried to get him to bed before 12:30am last night and he woke me up at 2am Angry saying he still couldn't sleep. Dragged him out of bed at 9:30 this morning, but he's going to struggle to sleep tonight. First day back is always a nightmare.

JustDanceAddict · 05/01/2020 19:06

It’s the getting up I’m dreading.
From 11.30 to 6.30am 😆

JiltedJohnsJulie · 05/01/2020 20:14

I'm not looking forward to getting them up either. Ours don't go back until Tuesday so at least we have another morning to try getting them up earlier.

Cecilia2016 · 05/01/2020 20:24

I’m dreading as well. I wake my 13year old up at 6am. She is normally good and sometimes she gets herself up but the only problem I have is getting my 15 year old dd up at 6:30am. She sleeps too much and she can’t get herself up even though her her alarm is under her pillow.

TerrifiedandWorried · 05/01/2020 20:28

I found DS1's trousers in a ball down the side of the chest of drawers. They still had the dirty boxers in them 🤮

belay · 06/01/2020 22:46

And today was bliss. An empty house 😁
